What's the verdict on Metricide?

Hi all,
I am new to shrimp keeping and have been using metricide in my tank with RCS and Amano shrimp. Is this okay?

How they going? Can't comment on that. I've found that as long as I don't increase the dose suddenly (but work up to it) the fish are ok.

My Amano shrimp do fine with metricide. I can't comment on on rcs as I don't have any.

Hi. I believe Metricide is only Excel, but twice as strong. I dose my planted tank heavily with Excel and my cherry shrimp are breeding like mad. I did slowly introduce the Excel and I keep the dosage the same every day. Like all parameters in the tank - stability is the key.
