When I first started to keep fish a few months ago I had a few shrimp in my tank. I kept finding them dead with half of their body missing I must have gone through about 6 red cherry shrimp and a couple of others.
Tank mates were a female betta, a couple of mollies, a small bristlenose pleco and a couple of guppies.
I always suspected the female betta for killing them, do they do this sort of thing? I really want to keep shrimp again but I still have the female betta although I have a bigger tank now and have bought some java moss.
