Comet missing scales

Hello I have a small black comet and I have noticed on both sides of his body he is missing a few scales. He lives with another fish who get along very well they do everything together. My decorations are all smooth I have fine gravel. So I'm not too sure what's going on. All my water levels are good. Should I add some aquarium salt to the tank. I do weekly water changes of 25% and gravel vacuum. It's due for a change today. I can take a picture of the fish if that helps he's just very hard to take a photo of

He may simply have got stuck between two ornaments and brushed himself through and few scales came off. Watch that they heal. Which should happen pretty quickly if he's otherwise healthy, week or so. If he loses more he may be sick. My goldies are always losing a scale here and there. Spawning and brushing off ornaments.
