So I recently found out I own a 2 acre pond and there's tons of life from bass to turtles I recently got a new tank and was wondering if taking a few goldfish from the pond would be a wise decision I own the land so there's no legal problems but would it be moral to take it from its native habitat IMG_1043.jpg

I say leave them be. If you want some, then buy from a pet store. I'm thinking getting them out of a crowded pet shop aquarium to your tank will be a big improvement for them.

It depends on the size of the fish and the size of the tank you plan on putting them into. That is a big pond and big transition for them.
One thing I've found is that goldfish raised outdoors can have vibrant coloration. Probably not a good thing when it comes to predation though.
