Have any mess with clay beads before. I have been soaking them for couple days now. However, they (clay beads) are still giving dirt when I come and rinse them.

No experience with these but I have read before that people will microwave them very briefly then place them in bucket of water (and repeat). Microwaving them forces trapped debris out as they heat and steam but evidently they can explode. You may want to read up on this before trying it!

Just buy biomass from online or pet store. That's what I would do.

Biomass is basically the same principal as bioload or stocking capacity based on ammonia output. Some people will weigh fish and base their stocking capacity via fish weight (biomass). Fish weight does not realistically apply to home aquaria but is used in commercial fishery settings to determine appropriate stocking capacities.
