I was interested in getting a sturgeon for my outdoor pond but I wasn't sure if it has the right requirements to house one. its 17 feet long, 12 feet wide and 3 feet deep. I was thinking of getting a diamond or sterlet sturgeon. it has a waterfall and plenty of shade. it's about 4000 gallons. can anyone tell me if my pond is large enough? if so, where could I purchase Sterlets?

I’ve heard that they can be quite interesting. I was also planning on buying an albino sterlet.

Sturgeon are magnificent I have to diamond sturgeon in my 4500 gallon pond they only require sinking pellets and the occasional live foods but they are sensitive to chemicals to treat koi and other pond fish you have the right size if you live in the uk carpco.co.uk is a perfect place to purchase them but if you live somewhere else i don’t know but sterlet are smaller and more common to find and just as beautiful
