So i want to start up a pond I completely understand tanks and the Nitrogen cycle. But I understand that it's different in ponds. This is what I was thinking

3-4 goldfish
218 gallons
HOB Filter
A submersible pump
5 Aquatic plants per fish
Tall grass on the side to minimise algae and increase protection

If there is anything I need to know tell me. Btw it's above ground

If you don't have a tree or net over top be conscious of predators. Also a plastic planter turned on its side with a stone in it makes a nice hiding spot in a plastic pond that otherwise lacks one.

I would go just a little larger if you can, that way you can add a fish or two if you want.
