Hey Everyone

I just wanted to take a moment and share an update on our temporary koi housing. Once the pond is finished I will use this tank for my shubunkin and feeder goldfish.

Its still a little hazy from substrate movement.

Standard playsand substrate
Penguin 200 filter upgraded with prefilter and alternate sponge inside. Added 250ml seachem matrix and ceramic rings to housing.
Powokoo sponge filter nothing fancy but holds 250ml of seachem matrix in addition the spongers which are 2inchx 4inch

Tetra 60g air pump 1 outlet feeding Powokoo 1 outlet feeding 10 inch air stone
Marble chips for buffering capacity
Pot for hiding
Various live and fake plants to support system

Upgraded lighting

So far ph is holding and zero ammonia buildup, didnt have time to test everything yet today.

I'm glad it worked out. I wouldn't be afraid to keep it even as high as 8.0

Yeah i added a bit of ph up today, since i still have some, to get it to right around 7.6 on the api test, im gonna see if it stays or drops back down to 7.0 if it drops i will add a bit more marble and see if it will stay
