Want to Start a Gold Fish Aquarium

Get a filter 2x larger than what you would normally need. I actually went way overboard and have a 65gal with 2 filters rated for 110 gal each. They are dirty dirty fish. The bigger they get, the bigger the poop.

I know it's a different ballgame. I've spent my life and times with aquaria in the world of tropical/Live bearers lol.

Hmmm interesting advice. I have a 55gal with and AquaClear 110 and it seems to work great.

Now I just have this odd fear that maybe he can't sleep at night because he gets pulled in towards the filter and has to constantly adjust himself.

Definitely go for the 50. Bigger is always better with goldfish.
