Well I don't think I'll be doing this. I don't know if I could afford going to the pet store every week for crickets and I won't be breeding them because some family members don't like the sound they make hahaha

Wait what? Why would you go to the pet store every week? Your breeding them? Have you ever heard of ebay/etc.? Aren't they gonna be in your room? You could even get the frogs online and they will probably be much better quality since they are coming straight from the breeder. I also have been doing some reaserch on combining them with Fire belly newts and it is up too you but i have found alot of horror stories about the frogs attacking the newts and breaking/ripping of limbs and stuff.

woops I made a mistake. I forgot to insert the word crickets in there hahaha. Yeah I knew that about ripping limbs

Hahahaha, i figured as much. Besides they stink unless you do a certain design for the cage so the smell dosen't escape as much. But they still stink. I would do it but i would do it outside.

Just bring them into a back porch or basement or something for the winter or something. Find a way, never give up, lol.

Well I'm back on the wagon but I need to figure this out. Crickets are tropical animals. My room is right beside my moms so the sound might travel through, the back porch can get below 10 in the winter, we have no basement but we do have my dads room tht he doesn't use but it's like 40F in the winter almost all the time.

Think I could use Dubia Roaches instead of crickets? They would be a lot easier to breed, although somewhat slower.

Dubia crickets will work. The only thing is they do take more heat. I would consider making them a bozx that is insulated because they do take temps up to 95 for the day temps and about 85 aty night. Another thing is to make sure to have a tight lid because the adult females do have wings. You would look to feed the babies though. You would also have to buy them online because i dought you will be able to find them.

You will also need to have substrate but this is the case when breeding any feeder bugs. You will also need atleast 2 cages. The more/bigger the better as always. But manly for the babies and adults.

They have wings but they can't fly, and the males have wings. I knew about the warm temperatures, do you think a human heat pad would be able to provide enough warmth?

honestly i do not know. I am just now getting into the vivariums with the natural plants all over the place. I would think the 6500K would be better as well. Maybe put both on if possible.

Well I'll check my walmart this weekend. If they have 6500K I'll get it. If not I'll get the other one cause I know they have that.

Yes you can. All aquarium plants are non toxic. Hence why it can go into a aquarium. lol. By the way, that was a strange link. And yes, googling that was very hard. lol.
