Feeding FBT

Want to set up a mostly aquatic tank for my FBT's. I'm thinkinf and 60-40 setup with the 60 being water. For those of you that have mostly aquatic tanks, how do you keep your crickets from drowning at feeding time?

Provide some floating plants like dwarf water lettuce.
