Flower pots

Can you put those old clay pots in a tropical fish tank?

If they are used I would wash well without soap and maybe even bake at 350 or so for an hour . That should disinfect them well enough . If new just rinse well and use . It's done all the time .

I’ve used many from hardware store with no issues. Just check / wash in case sprayed for pests.

If you plan on getting curious fish like betta, or smaller fish that would try to squeeze through, I would cover the holes so they don't get stuck. Otherwise it looks nice!

Hello bounce...

Clay pots are fine in an aquarium. Just rinse with some warm water and you're good. No cleaners, eco friendly or otherwise.

Either with aquarium safe glue and rocks or aquarium safe silicone.
