Mississippi map turtle in 55g

I was wanting to get a Mississippi map turtle. I currently have cichlids in the tank and I'm over filtering. What kind of lights and what size do I need? Will the fish filters work? I have a hob rated for 70g and a fluval 306 canister

Those filters will work great (I use a penguin 200HOB and a fluval 305) You need a regular incandescent bulb (I use a 40W) and a uvb bulb or light (I use a uvb 10.0 cfl). Buy 2 clamp lamps at Wal-Mart for like $7a piece.
