A housecat...and it did make the press (and the television news)...and, handily, all as a part of the big coverage of the bullfrog as a very destructive invasive species with a population that is simply exploding in BC. It was in both the Vancouver Sun and Vancouver Province newspapers, but you would probably have to contact them to access their e-mourge, as I cannot find a copy of the story online anymore (it was about 36 months ago, if memory serves).

I had a tadpole that did not change for 2 years. Then he disappeared one day. Not sure where he went. I never did anything to feed him. He also looked exactly like my friend's tadpoles and they hopped away within 2 months.
