Unhappy Will the flesh grow back?

So, late on monday night, I came home from work and found my adf (named Gucci, haha) trapped. He was trapped by the filter, his little leg stuck inside sucking on him like a leech. Although it was not the proper filter intake that was keeping him there, it was well, you can take your filter part, and theres a space between the parts, it was tiny, and I mean tiny, he managed to get his foot caught in it!! He couldn't get up for air so he was seriously bloated. I frantically got him out (his foot was all bloody) and rushed him down the stairs to where I keep my methylene blue, I washed his foot in the tank water to clean it as much as I could without hurting him. Then I took him out of the water and put a few drops of methylene blue on his foot, he sat there quite well for a minute then I put him back in the little bowl I had transported him in. Well this is day four, I am dosing it every day with methylene blue.. He's great eating fine etc but all his flesh has came off and it's just bone on the part that was affected... I am wondering if it will grow back or is there more to worry about etc etc, I now have a new filter in the tank, which is so much better and is frog safe all around, the frogs had been in a breeding net until I got the new filter. I really didn't think he would get his foot caught P.S. the intake of the old filter was fine for the frogs. Here's pictures.. Picture 1 - just when it happened.. Picture 2 - after methylene blue.. Picture 3 - day 2 (ignore the horrific water, tannis from wood, peas etc etc) and picture 4 - today (day four). Thanks!!

Im not an expert with frogs, but the flesh should grow back, just keep the water really clean and do lots of water changes.

Yes, I have heard of these things happening and the skin should grow back. With clean water he should be back in tip top shape in no time.

Dude, they thing had just suffered trauma and you are worried about it's size? Do you think anybody keeps their frogs fat enough?

i know it just suffered from trauma, but having enough food will help it grow back the flesh quicker and fight off infection better.and i said 2 frogs were too skinny.in all my time on AA.

Thanks all! Yes he is underweight, I want him to put a lot more weight on but he only eats enough to keep him that size and doesn't bother with the rest, unlike my male fighter (in another tank) that would eat until he burst!!

That's how one of my male ADF's is. He will only eat enough to stay slim, no matter how much I feed. Hope he gets back to normal quickly.

Thanks, I had to put him to sleep yesterday (my shrimp thread has the story) but my other frog got a similar injury so he's getting the same treatment.
