1 more ? before I buy lites.

Tank is 36"l x 12"w x 24" t. What is best choice? 175 Mh or 2x96 pc or 2x96 vho. I'm going to start with some hardy corals and move up from there. Also would a 4x96 vho be too much for this tank. Someone has one for sale used. Man I've read about lites till my eyes were bleeding. Just trying not to have to buy twice. Thanks for ideas. Also any starter coral suggestions

On a 36" tank, I'd probably go with the 4X75W VHO. Or I'd do a 175W w/ the 2 X 75W VHO, or I'd do a 250W MH with 2 X 30W NO actinics.

my 2 cents:

If the 4X96 are priced right, buy them. I would suggest 2X175W MH and that would be 350W. 4X96 is 384W. About the same. The more the better IMO.
