Getting close. Got the salt for it today. But want a couple more thing before I start stocking. Will prob be filling it up with in the next couple weeks.

Should I still use ro water for the first fill before the cycle or tap?

I think I'm happy with what we did. Tried to get all the angles I could. Have 2in PVC pipe running from the bog cave in the middle to a bog hole in the rock on the right side. Had to use holdfast to help keep sone pieces together. But all in all. I like it. What do y'all think.

Kept a little room on the right side to put a little bit of live rock in there. To help the cycle.

Were would be a good place to put power heads. Was thinking one on each side facing front and one on each side facing eachother with a wave maker set up. But with the rock stack would that be enough to keep all the water moving around and random enough?

I would think that's a good start. But when it comes down to it u may have to just play with it till u get it where u want it

Hahahaha. So looks like I just might have my gf talked into letting me keep the 55g we have in our bed room. But would a picaso trigger be ok in a 55? LA says 75g minimum.

Tank looks good ,,coming along nicely

To answer your question, IMHO NO not even in a 75...minimum IMO is 125 6 footer...Everybody always talks about tangs in no less than 6 footers ,,i believe the same should be said of triggers

Yea kinda thought that as well. Even though o know they only get about 9in.

Only 9 inches,,thats a pretty big fish for even a 125 ,,thats why i'm upgrading..my triggs are about 4 inches now and they use every inch of my 125

Well. I got the day off from work. Soooo. Looks like I'll be working on the plumbing to the tank. Will post pics when I get it done. Shouldn't take to long.

Sorry about the quality. Pics r with my phone.

Should I start the cycling and wait to put the sand and plant in my refugium? Or start it all at the same time?
