50 gallon

I just got a 50 gallon tank and stand for free so I will be getting rid of my 20 gallon hex and starting the 50 gallon. It isnt predrilled or anything fancy but thought it would be nicer. I was just wondering what equipment I should buy to do a reef, lighting filter etc.

Dude, do a search on hex lighting, there has been tons of discussion on the topic recently.

I think I would rather go a little bigger and spent the money especially since the 50 gal is free and I will be able to sell the hex. Just need some advice on equipment.

Take a look at my sig. I have a 46g and I am happy with my equipment. I might have gone for the Remora instead of the Bakpak if I did it again. I also just bought a 200w Titanium heater as the colder weather is coming and I didn't want to depend on my 15 yr old Visitherm anymore.
