Mostly mushrooms or zoa but I do want an anemone of sorts if that's possible

Okay cool. I think I might actually do a freshwater tank. Some discus would be sick

If I'm not mistaken discus need at least a 75...

Discus are awesome but....... They do require a lot of work on your part to keep them in good shape and even more to keep them fabulous. I would suggest a ton of research before jumping into them and would not advise them to someone new in the hobby. There are many places that offer "high quality" specimens. My best advice is investigate BEFORE you buy. Then investigate MORE !!! I'm not here to discourage you at all, only to share what I know and save you a lot of time and your hard earned cash as with all things, there's many bad sources out there. Only buy from trusted sources and stay away from the big box LFS, as they generally buy in bulk the less desirables from quantity (not quality) breeders.

Here are two excellent sources of info to help get you there.

Mac, no and yes...... to a degree, lol. 5-6 sub adult to adult will thrive in a 55 but like everything else in this hobby, the bigger the better !!!!
