Got it filled and is cycling

Sadly, without any rock in the system a cycle won't do anything. There is very little beneficial bacteria that ever becomes free floating. It populates the surface area of the rocks and sand in our systems. You'll need to get 1 lbs of porous rock in there to have a successful cycle.

Your right I used the wrong terminology still learning. Just got my rock yesterday.

That is a good amount ofrock that should grow a good amount of Beneficial bacteria. Good Luck
