Adding new live sand to my already cycled aquarium

Have black aragonite sand, it's not really sand more like black gravel. It is live, yes. But I'm getting annoyed with the look, I want something that makes it look like a real reef tank. So i want to add live sand to it. If anyone has suggestion on how to do it please comment below. Thank you!

You could scoop all or most of it out then add sand. With me I think id go for scooping most of it out and then slowly dump the sand in on top. Remember to turn off your filters/powerheads till your done
