i got my halides setup on friday the 9th.....
actinic 1130am-930pm
halides 250watts 12k 12pm-9pm
moonlights 930pm-1130am....

i use RO/DI water...everything is at 0 phosphate is very little about .5
temp at constant 77...
help...
i still dont have corals in there but i really wanna put some already...but idk if i can with all this brown algae? can i?

might just be the diatom stage. if it is it will clear up on its own. not sure about the corals. i had my tank all set up for about a year with corals already in it and installed MH's and had a diatom bloom for about 1-2 weeks. nothing else was really affected.

Usually when installing MH`s you will have a diatom bloom. They should go away. Just keep practicing good water husbandry.
