Ammo lock

Is it possible to accidentally overdose the tank with ammo lock ? I had a wild ammonia spike and 3 x dosed tank . Within 6 hours 1 clown died other fish and eel ok. Guy in shop said extra dose will not hurt.

I wouldnt see any problem with overequipping ammo lock although nobody should ever need to. Is your tank still cycling? How much sand & live rock do have? There really shouldnt be any reason have ammonia problems if the tank is established.

from what I have heard you really cant overdose with those chemicals, certainly not enough to kill anything.
How long has your tank been up and running? Did you cycle it first?
