Friday I received 60#'s of LR from LR.com. I do have an amonia spike and there is some die off. Per what I have learned browsing this forum, I am in a cycle again. I do not have any fish... I do have some blue legged hermits.
To save the most life in the LR during the re-cycle should I:
1.) Keep the lights on or off?
2.) Should I do more water changes?

Thanks

I think that it will clear up in a day or 2.

For the first time, I introduced a new fish the other day (disaster -- bag got sucked into magdrive... lol)... anyways... tank was cloudy for a day and ammonia increased slightly... no big deal.

I think yours will be fine. I would keep things normal but get a second opinion.

...plus, the hermits are very, very 'hardy'... i wouldn't worry at all.

...and a good cycle will help you when you introduce fish in a few months ;)

...let it get nasty, skim it, and then do a 50% water change and then add some fish.
