This morning I have tons of amphipods, should I take this as a sign things are progressing well with the tank (2.5 weeks along)? Since fish, clown and damsel, are eating these should I cut back on the mysis until they are gone?

Am I reading this right? 2 1/2 weeks in, and you are stocked with fish? SLOW DOWN, you arent cycled yet.

Please post details of your setup.

Yeah, I know....discussed that on another thread. Newbie mistake and poor guidance from local LFS. They gave me live rock and sand and said I wouldn't really have a cycle. Been watching levels and doing water changes to soft cycle with the fish in.

I actually stocked my tank with two fish early on and had same thing happen. There was a pod bloom and a bacteria bloom. Tank just needs to catch up with your bioload but it will clear up eventually, don't add anything else for a couple weeks.
