So Saturday I got a African blue eyed anthia which is also know as a lyretail anthia but it during feeding it gets excited but never eats just the little pieces and then goes and hides underneath a rock is this normal he was the biggest fish in is tank at the store and now he isn't and my angel pushes it around a little could it be timid

It could just be settling in. I've had new fish go days before they got the nerve to get into the mix of eating with the older fish.

Feeding mysis shrimp he wants to eat like he goes up to it but then turns away it wants to eat it but idk

I would try some brine, but I also agree with TheTodd; it is most likely settling in.

Thanks the poor thing got ich it's not flashing or anything but there is spots so I turned up the heat and doing every other day 25% water changes for a week and putting in some garlic extreme I think it will turn out ok I caught it pretty early so we will see

Never turn up the heat in a SW tank. High temps in a Sw tank cause lower aeration. That`s FW you turn up the heat. Also Garlic does nothing to the parasite. Read this
