Whats up with these fish? I have heard anything about them. Are they a good reef addition? Thanks

They are absolutely stunning aren't they? They are a good reef fish but usually they like to be in groups of a male and several females. This requires a larger tank(100 gals plus).

Is it OK to mix them? Like one Lyretail and one Disbar or something?

I am not sure on that one. I think you can just make sure you only have one male or a very large tank.

Yeah, I am thinking of a femals Lyretail and a male Disbar. Will they be OK in a 50g? Or do they need more room. LMK

They are best kept with their own species. They thrive best if kept one male to several females or singly. I don't want to advise mixing them as I'm not sure if that's a good idea
