Apex controlled Taotronics???

I am about to order some dimmable led panels for my 125 that are identical to the Tao fixtures. I know that theres a dimmer knob for the whites an one for the blues, what im wondering, is if its possible to tap into that dimmer and control it through the apex controller. The controller has a 0-10v pwm signal.

I have heard of people doing it with this and the apex dimming module.

You should be able to take the input to the potentiometer (dimmer knob) hook that to the imput to the 0-10v control and then output from the 0-10v control back to the output of where the potentiometer was. That should continue to use the internal power supply of the light. Then buy or just make a cable for the apex vdm port to go from the controller side of the 0-10v controller to apex. Little soldering and warranty voiding involved but should not be too hard.
