aragonite sand

I have crushed coral in my 45 gal tank, ive been reading that aragonite sand is a lot better to use, how is the best way to change? i already have fish and a lot of rocks in my tank

The best way to change is to change out 1/4 of it at a time so it does not release too much chemicals into your tank.

I heard in another thread that its best to keep the crushed corals under the rocks so i wont have to move it, or is it best it all be taken out?
