Hello, my LFS has a auto top off not sure off the brand. It consist of a sensor, pump (powerhead) and tubing, $82.00 bucks. Good or bad price, not sure ??? I thought I could put a 10 gal. aquarium under my 55 stand. It should just fit, I think ? Has anyone done anything like this ?? Thanks in advance for any ideas.

Can the powerhead handle that much vertical distance?
If you're not into DIY it could be worth it. I'd post the brand name though in case someone out there has horror stories to share. I suppose the system you are proposing can never loose more than the 10 gallons if there is a sensor failure.
Just maintain and test that sensorfrequently.
