bak pak protein skimmer help!!!

My protein skimmer isnt producing any skimmate
My tank has been cycled for a week now and i have a shrmp, firefish goby, and a clownfish
Cpr bak pak is the skimmer
What should i do to produce some skimmate???

Open up the air flow all the way and let it sit. Skimmers need time to dial in before they begin working correctly. Give it a week.

Is that the little nob on the pump on the skimmer?
So i would turn it left or right?

Maybe. I'd check the instructions. I don't have this model skimmer.

I have this skimmer model and I pulled the little valve at the end of the airline line all the way off so that it would allow the greatest possible airflow. They do take a couple of weeks to "break in" and they start producing. Mine didn't do anything for a week or so and it's working great now.

So imma just wait then and hopefully it will start producing some good foam
I may pull off that valve also since say its working good for u
How do u have the collection cup placed? Is the flat bottom of it below the water line?

Yes, I have the bottom edge of the collection cup about 1/4 inch below the water line - you may want to raise it after it starts skimmimg if the contents are too watery
