Best color spectrum?

That's pretty white for sw, I'd want more blue to even out the spectrum.

10-20k is generally what you want. I like a 14-15k look as it is a nice crisp blue/white look

You want to use the same for anemone as you do corals. Here is a nice little PDF that DFS uses to break everything down for LEDs that should help.

I prefer a bluer tank personally, but anywhere between the 10-20k range as bribo said is what you are aiming for.

Yeah, that makes sense considering it is the symbiotic algae that needs the light in both nems and corals, correct?

Yes, it is called zooxanthellae...I think I spelled it right.

and I also assume it requires the more intense spectrum because of the light needing to penetrate the water and the coral/nem tissue. Does that sound about right?
