What is the best way to position power heads? I currently have an aquaclear 30 and an aquaclear 20 in my 29 bow. Should I aim them towards towards each other, parallel, high in the water, low in the water, towards the rocks, towards the open areas, etc?

Thanks!

I' probably try 75% height, being that 50% is the middle, and yes I'd point'm towards each other. Ideally you'd get the top of the water moving and the two crashing into each other at the front of the glass to get a flow back thru the middle of the tank.

Even better, I like mine to alternate on and off (Red Sea Wavemaster) to get that random flow action.

it is also a good idea to am them so you have some breaking or rippling of the water surface. this will help promote better gas exchange and prevent a collection of a film on the surface.
