bio-spira and live rock

I think I mentioned before that the LFS gave me some Bio-Spira to start the tank. Has anyone tried this? I'm just curious at what point you put it in if you have LR? Will the live rock still have the kill-off?

I hav not used it but I assume you put it in with the LR at the start. The live rock will still have it's die off but the Bi-Spira is suppose to aid in the ammonia build up and help the cycle. That's what it should do anyway!!!
