Blue hippo qt

My local pet store has a healthy nice color blue hippo tang. He’s a bit 3 inches long. I was wondering will he be okay in my 10 gallon qt or what should i do

Yes. My qt is setup and good. I just didn’t know if he would be okay with the space

I'm thinking if you are observing him, he might be ok for a week.

Okay wasn’t sure if the tank was to small it might stress him out

In my opinion, it should be OK for no more than a week. Long term I foresee issues. Some of My LFS have them in 10’s, but the expectation is they are only there for a few days before being sold. How big is the tank it’s going in for long term? They need room.

Petco is running dollar a gallon sale. A 20l would give it a little more space and stability.

I have a 125 6ft long. The shop i bought him from pre treated with copper and also antibiotics. He looks good and is eating like a pig. Think 4-7 days will be enough in qt?

Sounds like a fine time. Qt is always best, but I don’t qt my livestock due to space limits. Lost all my livestock last year from it.
