Blue Jaw Trigger pairing

I got a male Blue Jaw a few weeks back and he's in my 240g now. My fish guy can get a female. What are the odds that they get along or is it just a random thing? I don't want a bloodbath, but would love a pair.

Its a crapshoot. Im sure some people have had no problem. However, I just read an article where the female was very aggressively chasing the male around. This person removed the female and put her in the quarantine tank.

After a few days the male died due to the stress of being beat up by the female.

I would tread lightly on this subject.
