I have not read this one, however many people at AA say they had great success with Robert Fenner's "Conscientious Marine Aquarist.

Skeet, I am setting up my first in a week and a half now. I have seen you on the freshie side. I knew nothing and now I feel confident to start my FOWLR.

I made a word doc. with a plan--all supplies--researched--narrowed down and came up with my equip list. Then I had another section with all my questions. Most have been answered and a few are for setup week.

Also, I browsed this forum everyday and you can learn alot from other peoples posts.

SKEET, I believe I read that book. If I remember, it is pretty basic, but helped me a lot. I also have the book Mike recommended...except for the cycle with fish, it is a very good book.

My first book was The New Marine Aquarium by Michael Palleta. Good book as well but no as in depth as Fenners.

Never read the one questioned.
