So I found out recently that my iridescent sharks will have to be transitioned to full salt eventually as they grow. How do I do this without harming them or my two other fish that cannot go full salt?

I'm planning already on buying a larger, separate tank for them to grow into, but I need a general timeline of how slow to add the salt to get it to full salinity and when to transition equipment so as not to wreck any of it.

You'll have to wait until you get the separate tank for the sharks to transition to 1.024 salinity since the other fish are unable to adjust to it. Then, simply raise the salinity slowly over time during water changes.

Thank you. When should I start running the sump/etc...does running low salinity water through marine equipment hurt it?

Do you mean Columbian sharks? Iridescent sharks/pangasius catfish are completely freshwater and get massive.
