When I first took over my tank I would have a hand full of bristle worms and other little bugs running around at nite. Now after about 12 months when I look at nite I don't see any worms, very few bugs, but a lot of tiny snails. I'm assuming they are all dead never seen any dead ones though. I know they are good for the tank should I be concerned that they are all gone? my levels have been stable through out the whole year.

No. If you see less and less of them, they don't have much to eat. This is a good thing. it means you are keeping your tank cleaner than the last guy.
