Brown Algea

Just recently got my tank started and now I have what seems to be brown algea all over my rocks. The guy at my lfs told me this is normal and it will go away eventually. Any input?

Its perfectly normal when setting up a new saltwater. Its called diatoms

Yep , it will burn itself out within a few weeks I bet. Just ugly for now is all. Not doing any damage.

Yeah I cycled my tank like 3 months ago but just recently stocked it.everything is fine.
