Hey all. 55 gal. FOWLR, no fish yet still cycling and curing rock. Doing water changes and leaving the lights out. I notice long brown algea I guess starting to grow on some of the rocks ??? Is it algea, and what do I do about it ???

This is typical with the cycling process. It is a good sign during the process, and it happens to all of us. Eventually, it will generally fade away when the cycling process is established. You are on your way. 8)
