Bubble trouble
I'm have a bad problem with micro bubbles in my display tank from my sump. Does any body have a solution ?

We need more info about your sump. Does it have baffles, filter sock, ect

Three chambers , no baffles , stopped running a filter sock almost a year ago . Return pump puts out around 8
gph

So put the filter sock back. I use panty hose on my return. Prevents bubbles and as a way to filter the water as well.

I would put in a filter sock or filter floss. A sock would prob be easier. I had the same prob when I stopped using a filter sock.

Try increasing the water level in the return section (i.e. raise the ATO controller). Less water spill height in the return section means fewer bubbles there, hence fewer micro bubbles.
