Bubbles from pumps in nanocube

I am having a bit of an issue with my pumps bubbling when they are both running. I have the MJ 1200 constant and the accela and hydro on wave. I can't tell exactly where bubbles are coming from but the intakes are a little blocked by wall to sump. Do I need to take the air line covers on pump off? Bubbles don't bother me that much but...

Nm the sump gets low and where the MJ is the water falls rapidly
