Okay ... things are moving along well ... my tank seemed to be more stable. Green algee is under control ... now I am getting a red mass that has made an appearance. It is red to burgaandy in apearance. The crabs and snails devour most of it but it is there again by days ens. What kind of algee is this and besides water changes what else do I do? Thanks!

Reduce light schedule, Use RO/DI water, use a protein skimmer, increase PWC, Remove it manually, Add a MacroAlgae in sump if possible, Increase clean-up crew, Add more water flow, Use home-made fish food and feed every other day. I am sure I am missing something thats all I can think of. Can you post a photo of the Algae for identification?
