I'm no good at carpentry so building on isn't an option.

There are DYI instructions on this forum if you have a friend who maybe can help you out. Other than that try garage sales or flea markets. I know the flea markets around here have a little bit of everything and I have seen tanks and stands dirt cheap. Good Luck 8)
