care and feeding of sponges

To my knowledge, most sponges will eat silicates and bacteria which they filter from the water. Lighting and current will depend on the particular species, but most will prefer a med to high waterflow and moderate to high lighting, although there are some sponges that do well in very low light conditions and are found growing on the undersides of LR. I don't know of any online sponge resources, but if you type in marine sponge in google, I'm pretty sure you'll find something.
