caron in sump?

i have a 90 gal with only 16 lbs of live rock another 36 is comign in 2 days should i put a carbon bag in the sump? im curing the rock as i setup my first tank

ya, i would use it. i used it during my tanks cycle and took it out after once i started putting corals in. itll take out docs and such to help with water clarity, but i have heard that it will store nitrates so to take it out when adding inverts and corals to the tank. i dont really know if this true or not since i have not really experimented with it, but i havnt had any problems not using it. hth

It would also be of benifit to run a skimmer while your curing your rock.
