Nice tank! I'm jealous. I've been searching craigslist for a 125G at a good price. So far I haven't found anything that includes good lights. Oh well, I'll be patient and keep searching. As long as you're not strapped for cash I'd get some. Just make sure there is room to grow. That is the whole point, it sucks up nutrients as it grows, then you tear off part and it grows again... No other reefers in your area? Not that $15 is a lot of money, but I'd rather buy a frag than spend it on something that should be free

How much light do the chaeto need? I dont have to much room above the sump. would Robot LED Clip Light work?

that is a beautiful aquarium. there are lots of DIY sump/refugium plans they are actually pretty easy to build, a few 1/4" sheets of plexiglass from homedepot to separate your pumps, skimmers,heaters and filter media from the refugium section.


i'm currently looking at a 125g for when i decide i want to go with a larger reef (72"x18"x22") and my girlfriends brother has a 70gallon that i think hes going to be gettign rid of so i would probably buy that from him and turn that into a 48"x18"x18" sump refugium
