Circulation pump queryy

Hello guys recently got myself a circulation pump not realisIng it was 5000 LPh one so I went ahead and plugged it in. I got myself a 400 litre tank with a few fish in but they seem to be wideout around everywhere cos of current. Is it to strOng? Thanks alot adam
