Cleaning Skimmer

I have noticed a large buildup on coralline on the inside of my skimmer as of late. It is still producing a good deal of skimmate. Do I need to clean it? If so, how?

Idk how much it'll effect the skimmer but to remove it get a couple gallons of distilled white vinegar and run it in a tub of that for a couple hours or even overnight if you don't mind leaving it off that long.

I don't think the Coraline would hurt it, but the white vinegar is the only way you'll be able to clean every spot of a skimmer.
